Happy Back ~ November 9, 16 & 30 and December 7
This class will help students learn yoga poses and techniques to help relieve neck, shoulder, mid back, and low back pain.
Neck, Shoulders and Rib Cage ~ February 1, 8, 15 & 22
The shoulder is made up of 4 joints and the most important is the connection between the shoulder blade and the ribcage. In this 3 class series, students will learn techniques that will help keep their shoulders safe and connect with their bodies. Increasing awareness and stability in the shoulder blades can help students release neck tension and tightness. Students will have the opportunity to ask questions and find a yoga practice that helps them respect their shoulders and release their neck.
Low Back, Hips and Knees ~ April 5, 12, 19 & 26
Our hip muscles are essential for what most of us consider normal movements throughout the day, walking, standing, and sitting. However, our “normal movements” use only a small range of the motion that our hips have available. This restricted range of motion leads to muscles imbalance contributing to the low back, knee, and hip pain. This workshop with explores the potential of our hip’s range of motion and our hip muscles relationship to joints above (low back/SI) and below (knee).
