Where we began
Jaimie started practicing yoga at the age of 19 and soon after practicing she felt the benefits of improved body awareness and mindfulness. When she became a physical therapist in 2005, Jaimie had great success incorporating yoga poses and breathing into her treatment sessions with patients. Jaimie completed my 200-hour teacher training in 2010 and taught therapeutic workshops and classes at various yoga studios including Yoga Oasis and Yoga Tree. In addition to teaching, Jaimie started her private practice (Yoga Therapy for You). She listened to her clients who were requesting weekly therapeutic yoga classes. Jaimie opened Yoga is Therapy in August of 2014 to provide a safe space for people to experience therapeutic yoga. Yoga is Therapy was a yoga therapy studio from August 2014 to September 2019. In October 2019, Yoga is Therapy returned to Jaimie's private practice where she focuses her attention providing yoga therapy to individual clients.
